Dahaan

AbdulRahman ‘Dahhan’ faces the common reality and emotional struggles that many individuals endure in third world countries. Many of these issues are, poverty, unemployment, corruption, unsteady romantic relationships, and the contradictions of Western perceptions. These factors combined, resulted in a troubled and unbalanced life for him which made people see him as demented outcast. However, what relationship will form between Dahhan and his languages teacher, and how will the events of September 11 affect their connection? Is it really true that the East is absolutely intolerant to the West or do common interests maintain the balance of judgment?
