A Tunisian writer with many published works including, Hikayat Shahrazad Al Kooriya (Tales of the Korean Scheherazade) and Hashasha (Fragility) and a number of children books. Her texts are translated into several languages including Korean, Swedish and German. Ines Abassi is a winner of several literary awards, most recently the Det Danske Institut i Damaskus award for her story Harb (War).
