Rai Abdulal is a Syrian author with an 8-year experience in media. She worked on producing children shows with Sharjah TV, Sama Dubai and Al Jazeera Children. She wrote several children stories over a period of five years for Khaled, the magazine published by Dubai Police. She worked in various television channels such as Abu Dhabi TV as an editor and a scriptwriter for recorded and live shows. She won the Sharjah Creativity Award for the Short Story in 2007 and the Ghanem Ghabbash Award for the Short Story in 2010. She has published stories in different newspapers and magazines in the UAE.
