I’m an independent Emirati illustrator and a graphic designer. I studied in Dubai Women’s college and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree with distinction of honors in Applied Media studies. I started freelancing since I graduated in 2009 and did a lot of work for the Ministry of Education, private companies and some individual clients, including graphic design and illustration. I do a mixture of artworks, enjoy working with different media and love to explore new illustration styles. I have participated in many events and won first place in Sheikh Majid Media awards in 2010, participated in Character Dubai 2009, Sikka Art Fair in 2011 and Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (Illustrator’s corner) in 2012. I also participated in the Middle East Film and Comic Con in 2012 and 2013. I have completed the Made in UAE-New Emirati Children’s Book workshop with the German artist UTE KRAUSE in April 2012, which was organized by UAEBBY and the Goethe-institute gulf region. I was featured in Mwahib: The Talent Directory vol1 which was produced by Mariam Bin Natoof, 2012/2013.
