Avelin

Ávelin was born in Barcelona, Spain in 1973 and, although she likes to travel all over the world, she still lives in that wonderful city. Since childhood she became inseparable from her drawing tools. She loved to draw and paint everywhere, at all times. Drawing led her to create, to think and to invent stories – things she often does. That passion for joining letters and drawings led her to study illustration in the Escola Massana and the Escola de la Dona in Barcelona. She has worked as an illustrator for several publishers and she is also an author and illustrator of children's books.
