Jimena Tello

Jimena was born in Buenos Aires. At the age of 4 her familymoved to France where she lived for 20 years. There shestudied editorial design at the Ecole Supérieure Estienne(graphic arts school) and Illustration at the Ecole Supérieuredes Arts Décoratifs (Art School), in Strasbourg. Back inArgentina she completed her learning with the Colombianillustrator José Sanabria, at the Sotano Blanco School ofArts, where she now teaches. Since her return to Argentinain 1997, she worked for publishers such as Santillana,Sudamericana, Alfaguara, Atlántida, AZ, Estrada, Edelvives,SM, Pictus, Puerto de Palos, Vergara and Riba and variousgovernmental agencies. She has recently published severalbooks with the Mexican publisher CIDCLI (this book was alsopublished in Korea) and French publisher Alzabane. In 2008she was selected to participate in the catalog of Argentineanillustrators presented at the Bologna Book Fair. In 2011 shewas selected to exhibit at the Biennale in Bratislava.
