Khaled Al Jabaili

A Syrian translator based in the USA with a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Aleppo, Syria, and the Chartered Institute of Linguists, London. He worked for many years as a translator and a proofreader at the United Nations in New York. He translated more than 45 books, the most famous of which are The Forty Rules of Love by Elif Shafak, Hikayat min Dayaat al Aramel (Tales from the Widows’ Village), Sakht (Discontent) and Zorba the Greek by Nikos Kazantzakis.
