May Bilal

I was born in Damascus in 1986 to an Algerian father and a Palestinian mother. I completed my translation studies at the University of Algiers in 2007 and majored in technical translation in Britain. I work in translation from and to the following languages: Arabic, English, and French. My passion for the Arabic language is the most beautiful thing that I picked up from the Middle East. My move to live in Algeria gave me the keys to master the French language. The English language is my academic companion and gateway to world literature where I translate novels that have not yet been translated to Arabic.
