Salam Al Hassan

Is a Syrian artist born in 1975 who received his diploma in fine arts from Adham Ismaeel Institute, Damascus in 2000. He is currently in Dubai working as a characters and locations designer for Fanar Animation Production. He started his animation career in 1999. In the year 2008 he directed 2 short animation films after receiving the grant from the cultural event in Syria. His 2 short films 1:30 pm Damascus Time and Short Dream were screened in many film festivals (Sousa festival in Tunisia & Beirut Mutaharreka Lebanon) and received compliment certificates from the jury of the festival. He also worked for several companies as an illustrator and characters and locations designer as well as an illustrator of comic books. Adding to that, he worked as a freelance director for children books. He has also been a participant in the photography art organized by the French Cultural Centre since 2005.
