If I were a Bird

A boy wishes to be a bird in order to fly to the other side of the wall and see the home he was forced to leave from. He asks questions to understand why his family and their neighbours were forced out of their homes to live in unfinished houses surrounded by a wall. If I were a Bird encapsulates the innocence of children in the face of war’s occupation, separation walls and injustice bringing to light a strand of hope to hold on to.
