In the realm of urbanism and architecture, "Flâneur" refers to those who are navigating urban spaces with awareness, analyzing architecture, and experiencing psychological and perceptual moments influenced by engineered designs. Iraqi architect Rafaat Al Jadirji, though not using the term, instinctively embraced it for framing and analysis in his journeys through various cities. Discovering this term resonated with the Sufi saying: "He who tastes, knows, and he who knows, harvests." The author, as a "Flâneuse," has wandered through Manama, Paris, and Minneapolis, affirming that such intuition brings joy.
