Glory of Beauty

The story heroine discovers that she is not as beautiful or charming as her mother, her family, and the entire community expected. She was born with a crooked head and an emaciated body, putting her mother in a severe state of denial; as those features do not meet the family’s “aesthetic” standards. That gives her a strong sense of inferiority at home, at school, and in the garden. With this awareness, the girl sets out to deconstruct the events of her life and how her appearance affected her relationships and fate, starting from a childhood full of fear and oppression until her adventures at school.
