I Create a Void Tone

Safia AlShehi reveals in her poetry a new self. She chooses the poem as a seed of expression; she shapes it and is shaped by it. In her poetry, she returns to the origin of the creation: the female, the woman with her occupations and preoccupations. She interlaces her poems with tales in mythical forms sometimes, and in other times, she accords with the contemporary feminist view and its intricacies.
