The Camel in the Sun

This story is inspired by a Hadith. It is about a camel pitilessly starved and overworked by its owner. The camel’s suffering continues till the Prophet (PBUH) sees it standing under the blazing sun while its owner lay in the shade. Saddened by this sight, the Prophet (PBUH) comforts the camel and then rebukes the owner who immediately begins to take care of the camel. The story teaches children to be compassionate and sensitive to the suffering of others.
